Downtown will soon be getting a new auction house and consignment shop, at 109 S. Sierra Madre St.
Mary Beth Cipoletti plans to open the Little London Market, the consignment part of the business, in the first week of January, and then add
Auction House 109 to the business in February, both located in the former Ross Auction building. “Little London” comes from an old nickname for Colorado Springs. Ross moved to 815 S. Sierra Madre St. a year ago.
Two businesses are opening this month under the Colorado Avenue bridge at 109 S. Sierra Madre St.
Mary Beth Cipoletti is opening Auction House 109 in the the former
location of Ross Auction, which moved seven blocks down the street
about a year ago.
Auction House 109 will also include a high-end consignment shop,
called Little London Market, that will sell women’s clothing as well as
modern and antique furnishings.
“I just think there is a need,” Cipoletti said. “There are a lot of
people out there who have beautiful things and they’re ready to move on
and get something different but the things are just too beautiful to put
in a garage sale.”
